A Photo Editing Workflow For Beginners
This 6 hour workshop introduces you to the fundamentals of Lightroom Classic and is designed to get you up and running quickly with a basic photo editing workflow that includes importing your images, basic photographic edits and exporting your images for social media and printing.
The photo editing workflow we introduce in this workshop will be useful for a majority of your images.
Lightroom Classic Fundamentals:
- Basic File & Folder Structure
- The Concept of Non-Destructive Editing
- Importing Your Images Into Lightroom
- Selecting and Sorting Your Images
- Basic Photographic Edits
- Exporting Your Images for Social Media and Printing.
PREREQUISITES
Students must have a fundamental understanding of the laptop they are bringing along. Whilst the instructor is happy to assist with post processing related questions, they will not be able to troubleshoot individual laptop issues.
STUDENT LIMIT
Class size will be between 4-6 students
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
You will need to bring your own laptop (PC or Mac) with Lightroom Classic installed. If you do not have Lightroom, you can download a free trial version before attending the workshop.
Please also ensure your bring your power supply. A mouse is highly recommended. A note book may also be useful.
We will provide you with images to work on in the course, though you are welcome to bring your own.
